Just Opened! ~ Auchlone Nature Kindergarten
We warmly welcome this cosy nursery at
Auchlone Lodge
to the Abercairny community. Following in the footsteps of Whistlebrae Nature Kindergarten near
Braco this child care facility offers a secure natural space inside, a
gently challenging outdoor investigative zone which supports young children to
develop emotional confidence and skills, and then the wild wood where they can
feel the freedom of a fully natural environment. |

Village Hall ~ Events for 2008 Come to The Spring Fayre this Saturday. There will be a Bouncy Castle, Pony rides, Cake and Candy stall, Plant stall, Face Painting, Tombola, Beat the Goalie and the raffle of hamper to name just some of the many exciting activities available!! We would be for grateful of any donations of: baking for the cake and candy stall, pancakes and scones for serving, plants, tombola prizes or second hand/unwanted books, videos, bric a brac, games and toys (which are in good condition). Please hand in donations to any committee members, or to the village hall on Friday 9th May after 6.30pm. Can any baking be donated on the day preferably pre-priced. If anyone can spare an hour to assist at the fayre please contact any of the committee. Social Evening – Saturday 17th May in Madderty Village Hall. 7.30 pm until late. Live Music and Dancing. All welcome. B.Y.O.B and snacks. Free entry – Donations for Hall Fund very welcome. BBQ – Saturday 7th June at Madderty Village Hall 2pm until 7pm. Adults £4 children £2. All welcome to come along to this fun afternoon. Raffle. Games Afternoon. – Saturday 19th July at Madderty Village Hall 2pm until 4pm. Children £2. Refreshments served. All school age children welcome to come along and join in this afternoon of fun and games. (Adults are welcome to stay and join in too) Race Night - Saturday 20th September at Madderty Village Hall 7pm for 7.30pm start. Halloween Party – Saturday 1st November at Madderty Village Hall 7pm start. AGM Tuesday 2nd December at Madderty Village Hall 7.30pm. Winter Fayre – Saturday 6th December at Madderty Village Hall 10 00 until 12.00. Christmas Party – Saturday 13th December at Madderty Village Hall 3pm until 5pm. Hogmanay – Wednesday 31st December at Madderty Village Hall 10pm until late. B.Y.O.B and snacks. All welcome. |
